Lost River Real Estate was founded by David A. Rudich, Broker and his two associates, Ann Morgan and Tim Ramsey, to bring together buyers and sellers of real estate. We are located in downtown Lost River on State Route 259, adjacent to the Lost River Grill and Motel.
We assist the buyer in defining what the buyer wants in terms of real estate. Such items may include intended usage, type of property, size, price range, and other attributes desirable to the client. We then search all "for sale" real estate including our own listings, listings of other agencies, and even "for sale by owner". The results are presented to the prospective buyer for a decision.
David, a Washington escapee, has been a resident of Lost River since 1981. He became active in marketing and selling of rural properties in the early 1980s, receiving his West Virginia Real Estate Brokers license in the mid 80's. In the late 1980's, with his wife Kathy he owned and operated Bryce Mountain Properties, a partnership specializing in marketing vacation and retirement homes and home sites at Bryce resort. Most recently David with his two associates, Tim and Ann founded Lost River Real Estate llc, to best serve the real estate needs of Lost River Valley and Vicinity
Ann has twenty years of experience with real estate in Lost River. She bought her first Lost River property, a weekend cabin, in 1985. She worked for the Peace Corps and the Department of State in Washington before she became a full-time resident of Lost River in 1990.For 13 years she ran the Inn at Lost River, a bed and breakfast. She also managed property for weekend residents. She now owns and operates two retail stores, the Lost River General Store and Uncommon Things. She continues to rent her own cabins to visitors to the area and is building cabins for sale. She knows the market, service providers, builders and her location at the general Store, a popular meeting place, gives her access to many prospective buyers and sellers.
Tim has been a resident of Lost River since 2000. He recently served as vice president for his property owners association. He also owns and operates the Lost River Grill and Motel, a popular local eating and meeting place. Prior to relocating to Lost River, Tim was responsible for management and business development for the private club industry. His real estate background began with over 5 years sales experience in Indiana. His 25 years experience in the service industry enables him to work with both buyer and seller in successfully consummating real estate transactions.
